Justin Smith

Justin Smith is an Oklahoma boy now based out of Nashville, TN. Born with a sweet, Southern, religious mother and a law stretching, pool hustling father, he found his love for comedy while studying at a Christian college and listened to comedy albums while working long days in the Oklahoma oil fields. Eventually, Justin took the leap and moved to New York to follow his dream of being a stand-up comedian, cutting his teeth and performing on every stage he could find. He slowly molded into a clean comic that most don't even realize is clean. His act appeals to everyone, whether they are a pastor or are on parole. Justin's body of work ranges from appearances on The Circle Network show Live from Zanies, to performing at the world-famous Apollo Theater and has even graced the stage at the prestigious Kennedy Center. You can find him as a recurring guest on The Nateland Podcast and XM's The Bon Fire. Justin is always on the road, touring across the country whether it be opening for Nate Bargatze or headlining comedy clubs. Seeing him live is unforgettable. One comment from YouTube says it all, "a theology-educated stand-up comedian with a father who dabbled in organized crime is what I have waited my whole life for. Thank you, Justin!".

Headliner: David pendleton

David Pendleton’s flawless technique as a ventriloquist sets him apart from just about any other ventriloquist you have ever seen. He will not only amaze you with his ability to make you believe that anything can talk, but his comedy act will also keep you laughing from start to finish. David started learning the art of ventriloquism when he was just six years old. “My grandparents bought me a toy Charley McCarthy dummy,” David recalls. “My grandmother was clever enough to include a record made by Jimmy Nelson called Instant Ventriloquism. As it turns out, most of the working ventriloquists that I know in my age range learned ventriloquism listening to that record.” By the age of eight David performed for the first time on a “real stage” for a “real audience” in a junior talent show. “I can still remember sitting on the stage waiting for the curtain to open after I was introduced—I thought having the curtain open in front of me was so cool!” Since that first curtain opening David has appeared on literally hundreds of stages from coast to coast and even around the world. “David Pendleton’s creativity, clever style, and choice humor provide the ticket to an unforgettable evening!” During his college years, he landed a job performing daily at King’s Island, a theme park near Cincinnati, Ohio. It was at that time that he began to consider a career as an entertainer. David says, “Practicing your show five or six times every day really helps you develop your craft.” He was obviously good at what he did, as he was asked to come back year after year. —Chuck Swindoll Now David regularly performs for sold-out crowds at the Blue Gate Theater in his home state of Indiana and is an audience favorite at the Alabama Theater in Myrtle Beach, SC. He has been invited back again and again to perform on conference cruises with Chuck Swindoll, David Jeremiah, Charles Stanley, and Bill & Gloria Gaither. He also performs at numerous corporate functions, fundraisers, and performing arts theaters across the country. David and his wife Lynda live in Fishers, Indiana. He grew up in the small town of Urbana, Ohio and is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in telecommunications. David brings a cast of comedic characters with him including lovable but blunt Aunt Tilly, a 94 year-old spinster; the classic quick-witted trouble maker, Mack Elroy; the dopey yet adorable hound dog, Buford; Sergeant Major Boo Rah, who ensures the show has the utmost security and discipline; and the slightly misguided albino vulture, Vern. Of course no show would be complete without a few surprise appearances from members of the audience as well! Whether you’re eight or eighty, cruising or schmoozing, this seasoned professional, in-demand comedian, and top-of-his-class expert ventriloquist will keep you in stitches. David Pendleton’s high-quality, family-friendly humor has mesmerized audiences the world over.
